| By Marie Corelli. London, England: Methuen & Co, 1897. Hard Cover. Fair Condition/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 465 pages. Subtitled 'A Dream of the World's Tragedy'. The red cover has some rubbing at the corners and either side of the spine binding but is intact; cover also has some staining and fading. Front papers are lightly foxed, end papers more heavily. Rest of pages show little signs of foxing and are in good condition apart from the first 40 pages which are stained at the top for an area of approximately 1.5 square centimetres, probably from a small amount of water which may have got on the front cover at some time. The front inner leaf has been removed, as is the case with most ex-library books. |
